About Zippy V2

This is the second version of this frame. This edition has the yoke from my senior project, more room in the front triangle thanks to a bend in the down tube, lower standover, optimized stack height, and bigger diameter top tube and down tube to increase stiffness when the frame is fully loaded. About Zippy

Zippy is my rigid n' fast 29er mountain bike. It's my bikepacking bike. It's the bike I hop on if I need a punchy ride to clear my head. It's my commuter, I ride it to work and school. If I could only have one bike, this would be it.

Build Tidbits

Welds and internal cable routing and lots of bottle bosses.

Oh yeah, I built two of these. One for me, and one for my brother Cooper. They're identical, except his is smaller.

Head tube badge held on with a braze clamp (which I machined).

Post disc brake caliper mount (which I machined).
